Tips to a healthier diet

 

- A very important thing to do if you are trying to lose weight : KEEP A JOURNAL OF WHAT YOU EAT.

By doing that you can see what you are doing wrong or what you are doing right, balance your meals better and think twice before munching on a snack since you will have to write it down! It works...

- Drink at least half a gallon of water a day .... and try to drink it ice cold because your body will burn more calories as it will have to bring it up to body temperature!

 - Chew your food ! - count to 20 for each mouthful ... put your fork down ... and you don't have to finish your plate!

 - HUNGRY ? drink a glass of water ( because sometimes the body send a message we mistake for hunger when it is actually a message of thirst! )

Still hungry ??  brush your teeth ! First, you will distract your attention from eating, plus the fresh feeling of a clean mouth tends to make me not want to "ruin" that just right now ... try it
